We bought the arable farm in 1994 and immediately introduced ecological methods in farming and breeding. We have had an ecological farm certificate since 1995. We do not use genetically modified crops as we grow bread plants that have been used for thousands of years - lupine and clover - and which have played an important role in traditional farming for hundreds of years. On our 30 hectare farm, we focus on three aspects: the breeding of laying hens, the cultivation of soil-grown vegetables, and the cultivation of bread cereals to be used in production of bread made through leavening.
