Miodosytnia Miody Nidzica is located in an old historic building from 1868, which is located at the foot of the Teutonic castle. In 1992, by decision of the Voivodship Conservator, the building of the mead factory was entered into the register of monuments as an interesting example of 19th-century industrial construction. Mead has been produced here for over 50 years. They are made exclusively from natural raw materials according to old recipes based on bee honey coming from apiaries from one of the cleanest regions, namely Warmia and Mazury. The honeys have a delicate velvety taste, they are produced by the natural fermentation of honey with water with the addition of noble yeast strains, aged for many years in oak barrels, naturally clarified. Honeys are not subjected to high temperatures (unsaturated honey), and thus retain all the values of bee honey used for their production. They have a unique taste and high nutritional value due to the high content of natural linden, buckwheat, multi-flower honey and others. A long aging period harmonizes the taste and aroma of mead.
