Lille Gadegård Vineyard
When Denmark became a wine-producing country in 2000, Jesper Paulsen planted grapevines on 2.9 hectares surrounding his Lille Gadegård farm. He was already enjoying great success with his strawberry wine. The first vintage red wine produced by Lille Gadegård was ready in August 2003 – and was soon sold out. Today, this South Bornholm vineyard makes red wine, as well as whisky, liqueur, bubbling fruit wines, spirits and Honey Snaps. These are on sale at the vineyard’s shop or can be enjoyed with a light lunch in the café or at one of the vineyard’s barbecues held in July and August.
