The restaurant was opened in 1979 and offers mainly the Wielkopolska cuisine dishes, with particular regard to the Szamotuły and Wronki region. The majority of dishes are prepared according to the old, regional recipes, passed from generation to generation.
Dishes served in the restaurant are made of local ingredients, purchased from producers from the Szamotuły Poviat.
Menu includes such courses as portioned duck with apples and onions, served with yeast potato dumplings and fried red cabbage, pork sirloins in boletus sauce, potato pancakes in boletus sauce, duck blood soup with grey noodles, sour pork soup or borscht with dried mushrooms.
In 2005, the restaurant was awarded a certificate for the portioned duck with apples in the “Szamotuły Region Culinary Competition” organised by the Szamotuły Rotary Club.
Restaurant also organises rustic receptions and cooperates with anglers’ and hunters’ clubs.
