“Gromada” Hotel and the “Zajazd Staropolski” (The Old Polish Inn) restaurant are located in Toruń at ul. Żeglarska in historical, 14th century houses. They are in the very centre of the Toruń Old Town – entered onto the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Noblesse oblige so the dishes for the guests of “Gromada” are prepared according to traditional recipes, using only fresh and natural products. The restaurant cooperates with the Meat Processing Plant run by Helena and Stefan Romanowscy from Miliszewy. The family company uses the GHP (Good Hygienic Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) systems.
The gastronomic offer of the hotel and the restaurant refers to the rich culinary traditions of Poland and the region. Traditional Polish cabbage stew (bigos), fermented rye flour soup (żurek) and duck blood soup (czernina) among their “flagship” courses.
