The butcher Pelgen opened in Neustadt an der Weinstraße 1968. Since 1993 the familiy business is run in 3rd generation by Jürgen Pelgen.
The offer includes among others:

- Air-dried blood sausage (Palatinate Pfefferbeißer)
- Boiled, cooked and raw sausages from own production by family recipe

The meat is produced by local farmers, e.g. lamb from a sheep farm in Lachen-Speyerdorf the pork, beef and veal from the Peasant Farmer Group Schwäbisch Hall.
The traditional business was awarded by the
Magazine DER FEINSCHMECKER as one of Germany's 500 best Butchers.

Fri: 7:30 am to 6:30 pm
Sat: 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
