Cavolo Nero with leek and bacon
Wash the leek and cut it into thin slices.
Cut the stem of the cavolo nero and slice it diagonally.
Cut the garlic into fine slices or chop it.
Cut the bacon into small pieces and place in a cold pan. Fry over medium heat so that the fat melts of slowly.
When the bacon starts to darken add the leek and garlic.
When the onions are clear, add the cavolo nero and heat through for 5 minutes.
Season with a little salt, sugar and black pepper.
