Homemade pate from Szydłowiec

In addition to other meat products, pâté was very popular in Szydłowiec and its vicinities. It was made from three varieties of meat: pork, veal and poultry, which has been characteristic for this product ever since. Additional ngredients included pork liver, pork fat, vegetables, eggs and spices such as herb pepper, pimento and bay leaf.

Szydłowiecki homemade pate is made from three kinds of meat. Pork, beef, poultry and pork liver; vegetables; carrots, celery, parsley; spices, salt, pepper, allspice, bay leaf, nutmeg, dry bread, bread crumbs, eggs, strips of bacon.
