GRANNY HELENA'S APPLE PIE

Make shortbread dough, divide into two parts, roll out and place one part in the greased baking tin. Peel apples and grate them coarsely, remove excess juice, add sugar, cinnamon and spread over the dough evenly. Cover the apples with the aother part of the rolled-out dough and bake for about 1 hour at 170 C. After cooling, sprinkle with caster sugar.

0.5 kg of wheat flour
250 grams of butter
1 tbsp lard
2 cups sugar
vanilla sugar
4 tbsp sour cream
4 egg yolks
Filling:
2 kg of apples
1 tbsp cinnamon
sugar
