Sister Cake from Gjerstad (Søsterkake)
Melt the butter and mix with milk to finger hot liquid. Dissolve the yeast in a little of the mixture.
Add the remaining ingredients and knead until the dough becomes smooth. It should not be too firm, you shall pour it into the molds.
Set to rise until doubled in size.
Pour into molds (4 pcs? Depends on the size), ¾ full. Set again to rise while the oven is hot. 180 degree and bake about 45-50 minutes.
1 liter whole milk
500 gr margarine
500 gr sugar
1 pk fresh yeast
About 1200 gr flour
400 gr raisins
