GÜLÜKLÜ SOUP (WITH CHICKEN)

To prepare the Gülük, mix the ingredients and make small chickpea-sized meatballs. Fry the Gülük with butter and olive oil for about 10 minutes without letting it disintegrate. Grate the tomatoes and add onto the Gülük. Continue frying for another 5-6 minutes. Add the tomato paste and red pepper and fry for 10 minutes. Add the chicken broth and salt and wait until it boils.
When boiling starts, add the boiled chickpeas. After 10 min add the lemon juice and washed rice. Then add the chicken meat and cook for about 10 minutes. When the rice is tender, turn off the heat and add dry mint to the soup.
Keep the lid of the pan open so that the rice does not get pulp.
