ÖKSÜZ ( ÖKÜZ ) HALVA
Boil grape molasses and water in the pot which will be used while cooking halva. 1 glass of water is separated from the mixture obtained. Flour is added slowly to the remainder and stirred continuously. The halva dough is obtained. The water seperated previously is added on the halva dough slightly meanwhile the dough is mixed continuously.
After adding the water is done, add half a tablespoon butter in and keep cooking halva dough. This process continues 8 times.
The halva is placed on a round tray and a pool shape is given on the middle of it.
200 gr of butter is melted and poured into that pool.
Note: The halva taken from the edge is first immersed in this pool and then eaten. The person who takes the bite to destroy this pool is the one who will make or order the next halva.
This dessert is Traditional Alanya Dessert.

200 g butter (used when serving)
